Our Philosophy

The Roots To Thrive Difference:

Rooted in connection and relationship, trauma informed care and polyvagal theory  Roots to Thrive has a radically different and healing approach to therapy.

We all encounter "traumas" throughout out our lives, they may be physical, environmental, or emotional, and these build up in our bodies, affecting our nervous system functioning.

Our therapies work directly with the nervous system to regulate, connect, and calm. From this state, we are able to progress and reach our therapeutic goals more quickly and with lasting results.

What is OT?

Occupational therapy is a skilled health profession, in which therapists, with a Master's or Doctorate degree and residency training, provide interventions for prevention, wellness, and rehabilitation for individuals facing challenges mentally, emotionally, and/or physically.

With holistic training in both mental and physical healthcare, OT's help individuals reach their goals of decreasing pain, increasing function, improving mental health, and allowing for wellness and prevention.

We help individuals across the life-span, young and old, with a variety of diagnoses and concerns. From chronic pain to sensory struggles, we work closely wth individuals on their personal goals so they can lives their life to the fullest.
